WHO ARE SACHI & MAJA?

SACHI YAMAWAKI
Born in 1924 in Kōchi, Japan, Sachi Tsubouchi (née Sachi Yamawaki) was a gentle powerhouse of a woman. Raising two young boys in post-war Japan was no joke, and she did it all with grace, kindness and gratitude. She owned and ran her own hair salon, loved to travel, and she always enjoyed drinking tea and catching up with her friends.
MAJA OLSON
Maja (pronounced “Maya”) Eddy (née Marie Olson in Portland, OR) excelled in all aspects of her life. She was a textbook Taurus, an entrepreneur, and the matriarch of her family. A realtor in Marin County, a volunteer at many local organizations, and she also founded the wedding program at Marin Art & Garden Center in Ross, CA.
